Bassingbourn Tower Museum
The museum houses a fascinating collection of exhibits, photographs and documents gathered over many years. The ground floor is devoted to the RAF, USAF and British Army, whilst the 2nd floor is dedicated to the 91st Bomb Group (Heavy) of the United States 8th AirForce. During WWII Bassingbourn was known as Station 121, United States Army Air Force, and famously known as the war-time home of the B17 bomber the Memphis Belle.
