The Henry Moore Foundation
Visitors to Perry Green, where Henry Moore lived for much of his life, can expect a privileged insight into the working practices and immense output of the artist. Tours include the opportunity to see Moore’s iconic sculptures in beautiful grounds, while displays in the original studios trace Moore’s artistic process from the numerous found objects from which he took inspiration, to the enlarging and carving of his works.
Hoglands - Henry and Irina Moore’s home for over forty years is now open to the public, and reveals their fascinating private art collection, as well as found objects and books with which they surrounded themselves. There is also an annually changing exhibition in the gallery space of the Sheep Field Barn. Visits must be made by appointment, so please call 01279 843333 or visit www.henry-moore-fdn.co.uk to book your place on a tour.
