Helmingham Hall Gardens

The main garden is surrounded by a moat and a 1740 wall, with wide herbaceous borders and planted tunnels intersecting an immaculate kitchen garden. The 2nd is a very special rose garden enclosed by yew hedges with an herb and knot garden containing plants grown in England before 1750. The gardens have been extensively redesigned over the last 20 years by Lady Tollemache, a winner of Chelsea Gold.
New for the 2010 season - the stable shops! A miniature complex of shops and workshops which house local artists and shops selling local produce.
New during 2010 - Childrens nature trail and mini beast Safari. We have a pack for children which tells them about the history of the hall and garden and takes them on a nature trail and bug hunt around the garden, they will also love seeing the large herds of Red and Fallow Deer.
Exciting range of events for the whole family throughout 2010 - please check the website for details.
