Walk in Constable's Footsteps
Discover The Dedham Vale, sitting on the borders of Suffolk and Essex. It has become famous worldwide through the paintings of Britain's greatest landscape artist John Constable (1776-1837). Many of the scenes which brought him inspiration can still be seen today.
This 4 mile (6 kilometres) walk takes you through some of the finest lowland landscape in
England - from the railway station at Manningtree to Flatford Mill, scene of Constable's ‘Hay Wain'.
